The official launch beer sold in the Greyhound, Barnoldswick on January 12th 2012. It is the first to be produced by the brewery. The first barrel was drunk dry in 40 mins from going on sale. It's a copper coloured bitter with lots of hoppy taste and aroma, It is bittered with Pilgrim hops and then as four seperate additions of Challenger hops to give it lots of flavour. A similar beer is going to be available at the upcoming Colne Beer Festival and Bradford Beer Festival. called "Hare of the Dog" and this is as per Barlicker Bitter apart from it has no Pilgrim in it. |
